Last of my Holy Grails??
on: June 01, 2021, 01:30:03 AM
Fortunate to find what “seems” to be the last of my Holy Grails this month after looking for a long time.  1st is the Wenger Serrated Safari.  Not an exotic toolset but seems to be a hard one to find.  Could just be me, but the niche is filled now 👍.

2nd is the 60’s small Huntsman.  Wasn’t even sure this existed until I saw a very damaged one a while back.  I have a 1946-51 version but I am partial to the 60’s knives with the shackle/bail.  This one looks to be hidden away unused for over 50 years.

3rd picture is the small Huntsman with its same era big brother.

Are these the last Grails?  For now maybe but unlikely it will be forever  :dunno:.

That's great news Boonies!  Congrats!
I sure like the look of the small clip point blade on those older ones.  :tu:
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Hi Lisa, me too!   Even favor the clip point on the Wengers vs. the nail file.  Also like the darker red color of the scales of this eta.  They just seem more substantial.

Thanks everyone.......these were two that I had almost given up on.  To have them both show up the same month was weird to say the least 😳.  Should have bought a lottery ticket I guess 😂.
