Couple bonus shots for day 31.

I got my Pemberton sometime in March?  Early this year and was not really expecting much.  Yes it looked great but the hype puts me off.  I was very happy about the size and cover material.  It looked great.  I was very happy but how would it carry?  How would I like it in hand and in use more importantly?

I've become a fan of small knives.  My 58mm SAKs are go to knives.  My Dragonfly is a go to.  My little trads also go to knives so this should be perfect.  It was and is.  The fat handle makes it so.  If it were thinner in hand I think I'd feel differently?  The main blade is perfect size for most everything.  The shorter blade is most everything else.  There are times when a longer reach is needed but the joys of being a knife nut means I have that covered.

I would not mind getting a back up of this knife.  Maybe a different main blade shape?  One thing is for sure tho, I am very happy with this knife and as such its been in pocket since getting it.  The foreseeable future I also suspect it will be in pocket.

Todays carry as everyday is Pemberton.

Bonus pic is last night.  Incense and citronella while reflecting on all that is good.

 :tu:

Just found the keychain knife my dad gave me when I was 12 or 13 (mid 70’s) after a trip to the US.

Carried this knife for at least 25 years. Once got confiscated by the police when I was 17 at, what turned out to be, a mods vs (punk) rockers bank holiday Monday riot in Weston Super Mare (UK) but asked for it back at the end of the day and they kindly obliged. I must stress I didn’t have any idea that’s how the day would go, was just enjoying a trip to the coast. I was a punk :)

I recently saw a newish one on eBay so grabbed it…this little fella served me extremely well, the number of beer bottles it opened, particularly at parties would be in the thousands

My Case mini stockman arrived from Sherry and it is a beauty.  I can't wait to carry it and you will all be seeing it prominently in next year's trad challenge.  Sherry this was very nice of you I can't thank you enough. I had to use the MP600 to open the package as that is my chosen tool for the Daredevil challenge, but it sure feels nice to have a proper knife in hand again.
