Hello from the Texas panhandle.

Howdy MTO!
Been lurking around off and on for a few years but I'm finally registered. Interest in repairing an older Gerber multiplier and possibly modding some other LM and Gerbers got me digging deeper here.

My first MT was a very early non locking Gerber that I carried for years. Not sure what happened to that first one but it was replaced with a 5th generation, on which my wife at the time promptly broke the cap lifter. Carried that one for a while until I discovered the MP600 Pro Scout.

I vaguely remember seeing Leatherman back in the day but it was Gerbers sliding pliers that got my money, still love'em.

Fast forward a few decades. I misplaced my Gerbers and got to looking at new MT's. Enter my first Leatherman the Surge, wow. More recently I discovered the OHT which is another great tool with my favorite Gerber feature.

Anyway here I am now. Current MT accumulation consists of Gerber MP and MP600, a SOG Powerpint (cause why not), Leatherman Surge, OHT, Free P2 (couldn't pass up the bargain) and on the way is a 300M.

Looking forward to joining in the discussions.
Hope everyone has a great day.

welcome mate
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Welcome from the U.K. I’m just reading about crossing the Red and Canadian on the Lonesome Dove cattle drive.

I'm about 20 miles from the Canadian. It can be beautiful especially with the rain we've had lately. Great books as well.

Traveled to Colorado Springs a lot to visit family until they moved recently. Now I'm trying to make up reasons to go back, the kids loved it.

Well, you can always come up to Pueblo and we can go get  a Slopper at Gray's Coors Tavern!
