Wenger patent and non patent can openers
on: June 16, 2021, 11:56:05 PM
I recently acquired a Wenger Highlander that lacks the ‘patent’ on the cap opener.  From what I can gather, far more Wenger knives have ‘patent’ on the can opener than ones that don’t have ‘patent’.  Is there any rhyme or reason behind this?  Thanks in advance.

I believe that by the time your knife was made, the patent has expired and this stamp was no longer put.
Or it is just a manufacturing defect.  :dunno:
