This afternoon I found myself using the universal scaler to clean out the cutters in my paper shredder. I needed something sturdy and pokey to dislodge the jammed-in shredded paper.

I doubt I will ever use the scaler to actually scale a fish, but it's great for a ton of other things. It might be the perfect example of a true multi-purpose tool.

I've come to really enjoy those pliers. Not like real pliers, but super useful little tool.   :tu:
That's how I usually see them. I've used them for lots of retrieving of small items from small places, where my fingers can't get into easily or I don't want to put my finger into. They're like heavy-duty, long-reach tweezers.

That's why I added them to an Explorer, because they're so handy.

Day 30 of 30 (Stack Challenge)

Final pic is of the Deluxe Explorer congratulating the Champ for a job well done.

Sure that isn't a mating dance? I'd keep my eye out for any Classics that might appear...

Yeah, I'm amazed how many uses I find for it when I stop thinking of it as a fish tool and more as a universal poking-scraping thingy.

The Truly Universal Scaler. This challenge really proved it’s that. Many scoff. But we know

So, Nix, it’s been less than a week since the Challenge ended.
Champ Addiction indeed. I think I’m ready for another 60.
Heck how about another 90?

I'm in the Delemont challenge right now, but aren't I missing the Swiss Champ? My Rangergrip 79 doesn't fill the same niche and is not nearly as much fun.   :-\

I bet. You clearly even have time to go back through this thread because you'd secretly rather be carrying your Champ.

Call it Champ Fever if you like Nix but I've got my black SwissChamp on my belt and I'm not apologising

Ok. I can hear you all thinking it.

I'll ask it.

How about a 90 day Go BIG and LONG Challenge for 90 days in 2022?
