Brisket ala Weber kettle
on: June 14, 2021, 01:43:26 AM
Been wanting to try a brisket on the Weber for a while,,,,, turned out pretty good,,,, no complaints!

Served up with broccoli casserole, onion rings and sweet potato fries.

Oh, that looks excellent.   :like:

Coals kept to the back, I presume?  How long in the hot box kettle?

Nice looking bark!   :like:

Thank you

Yes, indirect heat via a "slow-n-sear" that my wife gave me for Christmas. Four hours unwrapped,,, three more wrapped in foil. A half hour resting in a cooler. Rub was 1/4 cup salt, 1/4 cup pepper, 1/2 tablespoon each of cumin and garlic powder.

Tacos  for lunch this week!

Awesome idea!   :ahhh

I like to keep my rubs fairly simple, too.   :tu:

 When should we come by for brisket tacos?   You can do a lot with a Weber grill.  Glad to see you taking advantage of it.  Heat management is challenging but doable.  I've done ribs and brisket before as well.
