Folding Rulers
on: April 27, 2021, 05:29:50 AM
I don’t collect these on purpose, but I refuse to leave one sitting at an estate sale if it is under $2.   The metric 2 meter is a Stabila.

In order top to bottom.

Stabila 2 meter
Master Rule 6 foot
Lufkin Universal 6 foot
Craftsman No. 3904 with 6 inch depth gauge
Lufkin Extension 6 foot with 6 inch depth gauge
Lufkin Extension 6 foot with 6 inch depth gauge
Lufkin Red End Extension 8 foot with 6 inch depth gauge

I thought you had more then that, didn’t you just get a ridgid like last month? I must say not too many people use these anymore, I myself it was one of my main tools when doing ductwork, especially the fabrication! But still when doing plumbing it was a good tool!

This was posted before I picked up the Ridgid. I’m still looking for an inside read.  I also want metal and aluminum rules just because they exist.

Mostly estate sales.  My father and my grandfather on my mother's side used them.  I remember measuring things with them when I was young.
