Nice alox scales there, Echotech, even Coco looks less than impressed!

Day 1

My Executive is a black cellidor version, but I’ve added black toothpick and tweezers to give it a stealthier look! Logging on this morning I got the low battery message for the track pad, so I used the screwdriver/orange peeler to open up the battery compartment- worked well, better than I expected! The trackpad batteries seem to need replacing twice as often as the keyboard ones….. Surprisingly bright light this morning, though the pic doesn’t capture the yellow glow….if I lived elsewhere I’d have said it looked like snow, but nowhere near cold enough today for that!

Quick rule clarification: Can I substitute a Director for my Exec?  It's not a problem if I can't, but inquiring minds want to know.

Day 1

Let’s kick things off then… as usual that means a shot of Coco looking decidedly disinterested

And a close up of this old beauty

Great pics Echotech! :like: :tu: :tu:

Nice to see Coco in the Challenge!

DAY 1

This Executive was gifted to me in 2018 and has special meaning to me. I have carried it every day since I received it.

I used it to peel an orange.

Straight from one challenge into another!

Posing with the morning brew. Like Rizio mine's a black cellidor and I've added all black accessories for that sleek look.

We have the tools, we have the talent!

Cheers, Vicman - I wondered whether it would scratch the anodising, but it didn’t. Nice orange work - must do that myself at some point this challenge!

DAY 1  Straight from the PST challenge to this one left me in a state of :ahhh   The Exec blades were dull as could be. :ahhh  Blades sharpened, but how do I carry this thing?  :ahhh  I never carry a knife this light, so I'm trying a large pocket clip and glow ring so I don't run it through the laundry too many times this month.

Day 1
I recently took up whittling as a hobby.  I was trying to make a snowman, but this keeps trying to turn into an owl.
Tried some quick whittles with the Executive just now and was surprised at how well it cut through the basswood.

Looks like were off to an excellent start!   :salute:

I'm dealing with some plantar fasciitis (foot pain) and may be a bit hobbled for the challenge. Too bad, the weather has been quite warm and mild for the time of year. So, I'm off to a slow start.

Day 01/30
I'm sure Chuck didn't receive packages in the wilderness. Still, had to be done  :D

So I've used the Universal Peeler to open a package containing two small tool bags I've spotted on the bay. I might share some details tomorrow...
