The cadet hands down for me. The tinker back mounted Phillips has proved a weak point for me, when I had one buckle the liners undoing a rusty license plate screw. the second thing I don't like about the tinker is the 'newer' cellidor scales with he hollow cavities that break way too easy if dropped on a hard floor. Third, the cellidor scales have a melt point when in contact with certain chemicals in mosquito repellent or some gun cleaning solvents. I have grown to hate the cellidor scales and will always go with alox if available. I can do without the tweezers and toothpick for a more durable tool.
Are you sure that a Cadet is awl you need?
