Although I always feel guilty about it, I use this Rebar most days now instead of the PST my dad gave me (although I usually have both on me). Having a serrated (utility) blade, saw, ability to use multiple bit types with the adapter OR my hacked bit exchanger, and the usefulness of the Volty Switch makes this an amazing tool. I'm not a scissors or micro driver guy and like the old school Leathermans, so this is pretty much my ultimate multitool for every day and camping/survival use.

EOD cutters are inbound for it too. Woo hoo!

Oh, definitely.  When I decided to get a new Leatherman for my gig at the Y (and I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I don't have to do that anymore  ), I put a comment on TX Tool Crib's latest video at the time. Ben was nice enough to reply and suggested that since I had used my PST for so long and still liked it, that I look at a Rebar or ST300. Well long story short - I bought the newest versions that LM  had to offer and wasn't happy with them (especially the P4). THEN got a ST300 and Rebar. What a surprise...... I liked them both.

And LOL - I forgot to put the file out in the previous picture.  Whoops!!

I do not believe anyone subscribed to this topic would try to discourage you😊

For the money I do believe the REBAR is the best bang for your money.  But, that is just my very humble opinion!☺️

:iagree: Gordon.  I think it's the heir to the PST.  FrenchEOD, are you looking for the EOD version or the regular Rebar?

I gotta say that the Rebar is well worth its money and can be a most excellent EDC 8) :tu:

They only made the ST300 as an EOD I believe  the Rebar has a a knifeless version along with the,  stainless, black oxide and coyote tan (plus a few different color variations that are super rare :ahhh )

Thanks Poncho!  I couldn't remember if there was an EOD Rebar or not.  Spending too much time in the Gerber and SOG forums
