Excellent write-up of your Curl mod, Rich.  :multi:

Thank you  :hatsoff:

A saw?  :pok:

No, but I am considering replacing the can opener with a saw if it fits.

A Rebar saw, I presume?

Just from eyeballing my Bond's (Rebar) saw and my Curl, I think the saw would fit in the can opener's position, but I think it would interfere with the plier head when folded.

If you do try it, let us know how it goes!

How's the overall experience with the Curl? I am in the market for a nice pocket MT after wiping out my SOG poweraccess after almost 3 years of daily carry.

The Curl is a good tool :salute: It has my most used features from a Wave in a slimmer package :woohoo: :like:

I was just looking up best prices for it. I think I found my new EDC. I prefer a leatherman to a SOG MT any day anyways.

Edit: $90... Ouch.... I will just suffer with a Wave pocket carry for that price.

Oh yeah  The prices recently went up across the board :ahhh

I ended up getting mine for about $65 and we'll worth that price but not the price they are going for now

I even checked the place I bought mine and they are already at $89.95 and out of stock

Its been happening with everything. Trying to get a computer in 2020-end 2021 was a 9 month wait nightmare. Lot of stress over the last two years with my work. First time in my career of telling people, yeah you broke your laptop and its out of warranty, here's a 9 year old thing to hold you over.

The slimmer frame of the Curl is what makes it my favorite Leatherman.  I would still buy it even if it were more expensive than the Wave :tu:

I second the comment by Rich_SD. And I paid $130 for my Curl, if it makes you feel better. But then I reside outside the US. If compact pocket carry is important the Curl is for you.

It is likely as a lot of the toolset is similar

If not, then perhaps a Bond 2 will fill that gap :tu:

What's special about that address? I looked it up and all I got was an Amazon fulfillment center.

Oh, I just thought it came from a leatherman warehouse. Since it has Leatherman Tool Group as the sender.
