It still came from LTG but from a different address  at least that is what I get out of it :tu: May be wrong though :dunno:

The Curl?  :D

The Curl is really, really good. I am impressed. Thanks for the couple years PowerAccess, but you been retired.

The Curl is one of my most carried MT (the other is my Charge Knife, if I may borrow the name from Ponch!). But for some reason it doesn't seem to get the attention it deserves compared to other LM's. My observation is based on the level of discussions in MT forums and inventory carried at my local retail stores, none of which stock the Curl but they have plenty of Surge, Wave, Charge, Signal, just to name a few. I am told they only carry stock for the good selling models. I am not sure if pricing has anything to do with it, but imo the Curl strikes the best sweet spot in terms of toolset & pocketability, at least for me.

Hopefully it is just because the Curl is a new model and it gains some traction over the next couple years  :salute:

The price increase as of late sure doesn't help though

You can borrow the name all you want, rcat :hatsoff: :D

Thanks buddy!

Due to challenges, this is my first chance to carry the Curl. I see why Rich likes it so much. But I don't see why it is priced higher than the Rebar.

I don't know why it is higher than a Rebar either  they should be about the same price point :dunno:

I am gonna try to carry mine some and get a better feel for it but what time I carry it before all my Challenges,  it was a very nice lightweight carry option  :like:

Well... fortunately for the Curl there is no power going to that electrical panel yet. Otherwise, that might would have left a mark on the MT

That is the "backup" to my work knife. At least that is the excuse I used to buy it.

My initial thoughts of the Curl were - not bad but I wanted a saw instead of the file and it was too close to Wave price. I wasn't sure how I felt about the lack of lock tabs for the internal tools.
Nowadays I think that the lack of lock tabs would make it a bit more pocketable and would'n hurt my use, I can make a saw for it and it's basically a lighter and I believe thinner Wave. Only thing I'd miss is having both serrated and straight edge. And the price situation - I think somewhere in here I wrote that I don't think that the Curl is expensive, but the Wave is cheap. Well, nowadays the prices here are : Curl - 199 BGN, Wave plus 299 BGN. So that makes the Curl a lot more attractive.

Anyhow... I may or may not have ordered one more Leatherman. It may or may not arrive during the coming week. Can't wait  :gimme:
