Removing the magnet on a Nitecore Concept 1

Suggestions on how to do this? Tight tolerances make it very difficult to lever it out....

I assume you've popped the spring out and tried tapping the magnet out?
Other reviews have suggested it is removable, though haven't detailed exactly how...

I'd say pop a little lubricant in the cap and use another magnet (carefully) to pull it out

Nitecore support have recommended against removal, with the expected disclaimer that "It would likely be difficult to remove that magnet without damage to the spring and/or cap itself. I advise not to do it as such modifications could potentially void the warranty of your light." Not sure where the reviews originally sourced the claim of a removable magnet.

And yes, using another magnet sounds like the most promising option.

Interesting thread. I have a Nitecore LR12 that I would be quite keen to remove the magnet from.  Largely as I carry it in pocket and am always concerned it may "wipe" my bank cards or damage my mobile phone.

I was hoping somebody might make an after market end cap, but not for the LR12 so far. Have you tried looking online to see if one is available to fit your model?

Generally reviews from the enthusiast crowd, who typically scoff at the CRI of Nitecore/Fenix/Olightany brand torches, before pulling them apart and adding their own LEDs... the sort who have the tools to do such things, basically.
More along the lines of 'can be' removed, rather than is designed to simply pop out.

No idea yet on the aftermarket option.
