85mm Delemont tools in 84mm Vic?
on: September 11, 2021, 02:57:08 PM
Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked already but I can’t find the answer in the search bar.

Can the scissors layer be taken from a Delemont and put into a an 84mm cellidor frame? I know the pins are close, but far enough apart to not be a straight drop in but I’m more than willing to unleash the dremel to get what I want  :climber:

The short version is: no, it can't but as shown in PTRSAK's thread you can use Wenger/Delémont scissors with a 84mm blade backspring and an appropriate rest/tensioner (usually a thick blade tang). So if you have an extra Waiter/Bantam lying around you're all set...
