Leatherman 300 Wire Stripper Tool
on: September 12, 2021, 07:42:17 PM

Project-Turn the Commercial Electric Multitool head, which is pretty good, Into an inside tool on the Leatherman 300.

Problem-The Commercial Electric Multitool has thick tools so in grinding down the wire strippers the pivot fell out.

Solution?  I bought a rivet but it comes with a thick head which rather negates all my grinding work.  Any other options?

That is a nice idea  :tu:
I don't know of a solution to the problem at the moment. I'll have to look at the CE MT and think about it.

Is it fairly easy to install the SOG wire stripper into the ST300?

Thanks.  I'm going to keep working on it.  I braze copper at work so I think I should be able to braze this into a notch on a leatherman tool like some have welded in the scalpel holder.
