Weird Old Wenger Esquire
on: April 13, 2023, 03:07:07 AM
We found this old, what we believe to be, Wenger Esquire amongst my recently passed grandfathers things and could not find any information about the odd tweezer attachment where the scissors should be or the dial that goes from 1-12. If anyone has any information about what these attachments would have been used for that would be amazing since it is an interesting piece of my grandfathers legacy that I would love to know more about. Thanks for any input!

This would be Wenger's Executive Golf Pro with stainless steel scales:

The 'tweezers' are a divot repair tool for fixing the impact craters when a golf ball lands on the green, and the dial is a stroke counter.
Your grandfather was a keen golf player?

Thank you guys so much for the responses! He was an extremely avid golfer so that makes a ton of sense for him!
