It would be nice if they'd included a list of tools. I can't figure out what the heck the wavy deal is supposed to be. Price seems way too high to me as well.

The wavy thing is the fold-out handle for using the shears.
It looks decent enough, but way too expensive and minimalist.

Thanks for clearing that up. I agree that it seems way too expensive for a blade and a pair of scissors.

Yeah, I also wondered what the wavy thing was!

I do like the idea of a proper shears based multitool, but I am not sure this is it.

If I wanted a knife/scissors combo, I think I would get the Roxon S501:

I am not crazy about the tanto blade, but those scissors should be great. Both RP and myself have Roxon MTs, and we bith think that the scissors are excellent.

Since we're on the subject of knife/scissor combos from HX Outdoors, I rolled the dice and bought another item from them after the success of my multi pliers purchase:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000853742568.html

It seems like a clone of the Kershaw Twocan, but with a lighter G10/carbon fiber body. I think I like this more than the pliers tool even. The carabiner clip on it seems sturdier than the pliers one. In terms of size, it's about the size/weight of my Spyderco Jester. Seems like it would make a cool pair of keychain snips. Tempted to replace the SAK on my keychain with it...

If you have a Dremel and too much time on your hands, it's quite easy to adapt the Roxon Phantom/Phantasy exchangeable blades to the S501 so you can have almost any blade shape you like.
