Zip Tie user badge request!
Friday I was putting up some trellis for tomato plants,  and used zip ties to secure the fencing to the T-posts.

I do not know the right words for it in English - but when hunting I always use zip ties when removing the intestines (while still in the woods). Zip ties are placed very close to each other on the colon (?) and other bits that you do not want to leak into the body contaminating the meat. Then I cut between the zip ties. The dirty bits stay where they are and do not leak into the body. Later when indoors, having the game hanging from a hook it is much easier to remove the "exit points" of colon and "the other bits". Very hygenic and much easier than fumbling about in the woods.

Does my description make sense?

You are never going to get pictures of it... but I do use zip ties  :D

Howdy J2000E!
Yes, your description makes sense, and your word selection is good.  That is a great idea that should keep the meat clean!
Thank you for the idea!     :tu:
