We've looked at the SwissTool RS, and that was super cool. We looked at a Black Oxide SwissTool and that was even cooler. Now, let's look at the coolest of the cool, the NATO issue SwissTool!

We've put our logo on a lot of cool tools in the past, but this early SOG ToolClip may be the coolest!

I may be a bit biased as I prefer fixed head plier tools, and the original ToolClip is near the top of that very short list- and it's simplicity is only surpassed by its toughness. This particular example was EDC'ed by me for a while and could still (almost!) pass for new condition- in spite of it being about 30 years old!

Continuing the trend of tools with our name on them as part of our 16th Anniversary, today we are looking at the red ALOX Victorinox Pioneer X that we had produced in 2017.

This particular version (as you can see from the blade!) was produced to commemorate the Pioneer X winning our coveted Multitool.org Multitool Of The Year, having been judged by members as the best tool released in 2016.

Our 16th Anniversary this month is big- how big? So big we had to roll out the handful known as the Gerber Cable Dawg telecommunications tool.

Personally I don't know the difference between CAT-5 and cat food, but I do know this massive tool (with a massive price tag!) is pretty darned good at the things I've done with it- the strap cutter is unparalleled in the multitool world, and the removable handle allows you to use the blade, screwdriver or awl as if you had a dedicated version of each.

If it’s one-handed style then the Leatherman OHT and Free P2 and P4 come to mind. You can use those with one hand tied behind your back or even when you can’t use your fingernails.

The kind where one "handle" is folded inside the tool when not in use. Makes them a lot slimmer. Like the one above, or some of the old Wenger Rangergrips.

If ever there was a contest for the greatest multitool of all time, the Al Mar 4x4 would be a strong contender for the title.

This high polished, fixed head plier tool was one of the toughest tools available, and based off the infamous WWII era OSS Escape Tool. You would have a very hard time trying to find a better built, higher quality tool than the 4x4.

You know we are big fans of the Gerber MP600 on this page, and today we are featuring yet another variant- the elusive yellow MP600!

As mentioned previously, there are probably more variants of the MP600 than any other tool on the market, but this version stands out not just because of the yellow handles, but also the black head and bead blasted tools. Many have wondered why Gerber didn't do black tools on these colored versions to match the black head, but we've never gotten a real answer- maybe if the folks at Gerber see this they will be nice enough to respond!

It's Friday and we need to end the week on a very cool note, so how about a Custom Leatherman Charge that we did in house?

We did a run of ten of these- five in Blue and five in Green, and they are all very, very cool! They started life as standard Charge AL models but were upgraded with custom milled Titanium scales that were anodized and then laser etched with numbers 001 to 010 and the Multitool.org logo.

I had something different in mind to post today, but after all the messages I got after yesterday's bonus post, I figured I'd better post more pics of this- the Grohmann #4 Survival knife.

This particular one features water buffalo handles and is, in my opinion the finest bushcraft/survival/outdoors knife money can buy, and I'd happily put it up against any others- and I'm not just saying that because Grohmann makes these just up the road a bit from my house!
