Please add the Folding Hunter other than a Buck 110 challenge in May again for Next year. I'd also like to propose an EDC Fixed Blade challenge for October since we haven't done one in a couple of years now.  It's kind of early to start threads for those but if that's needed before they can be posted here I'll get it done.

That's the problem Steve, I can't find it  ::)

All I could find was this from RP on the Fantabulous February MiniTool Challenge

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,88360.msg2292389.html#msg2292389

It mentions 2021 but is listed for 2022  :dunno: :ahhh

UPDATE!!!

Thanks to Poncho (who spotted my deliberate mistake  ;)) Here is the link to the Combo-Edge:

It appears that Elvenblade has not been active since August 22. You or RP may have to take over as host to generate more interest in the challenge. I had thought about joining it back in the fall, but subsequently forgot about it. I am signed up for the Mini Tool challenge now.

Elite MTO members are moving forward with the Glorious 2022 Combo Edge Challenge beginning February 1, 2022.  Its only open to members who possess extreme levels of intellect, savoir-faire, humility, physical strength and chick-magnet power.

And those who pretend to possess those attributes.   :pok:

Its such an awesome Challenge that there may not even be a Badge awarded.  But we don't do Combo Edge Challenges for stinkin' badges.  We do them for the love of the cutting arts, and to project our Man Power on MTO and across the interwebs.

Applications are now being accepted:

I have a question.  Several of the challenge awards say "Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days."   Are these something I can do by myself, or do they have to be organized challenges like in this thread?

You can do a challenge solo if that's what you want to do.   :tu:

It’s 30 days of carrying and using a Buck 110 and you post a new photo of it everyday throughout April. It’s a really fun challenge.

Been considering another challenge in the same vein as the Batman challenge:

The Heavy Carry Challenge (name pending)

The spirit of it is to carry a heavy load out, with at least one representation of every required category (still to be finalized). So you would have to carry one of each:

-Dedicated folding knife
-SAK of each listed size (58mm, 91mm, 93mm) You can (and are encouraged to!) carry additional sizes, but diverting from these core sizes can be difficult to find/join in
-Plier-based MT of your choice - You have the option of carrying dedicated pliers if you wish instead
-Flashlight (dedicated)
-Pen (can incorporate other tools, but a plus scale pen wouldn't count here. Think more Fisher space pen or Olight O'Pen 2/Pro)
-At least one pouch or organiser
-Method of firestarting (matches, lighter, ferro rod- which can include the Tortoise Gear ones)
-Utility cloth (this can be a handkerchief, microfiber cloth etc. whatever is more applicable to your situation)

The list will probably change, would anyone be up for this kind of madness?

Check out my Youtube channel  for gear reviews, comparisons, and carry philosophy.

Love belt carry? Consider doing the Batman Challenge!

I've always wondered, who comes up with the challenges? If I have an idea for one, who do I talk to.

I saw the toolbox challenge and really thought it was a brilliant idea. Wish I was around for that one. Can I still try it to get the badge for it?  :dunno:

AFAIK, any existing 30 days challenge can be done solo, but if you would like some company to do it together, do feel free to create a sign-up challenge thread in relevant sub-forum ahead of time, so fellow members could join you for the challenge.

I'll look through them to see if one matches an idea I had. It feels good to be back in the groove of the hobby

I could but I think it will be more fun doing it with the others. Well, I'll probably take a break in June, short pants season coming I don't feel like ST300 every day especially after a month of Swisstool daily  :D

Edit: It occurred to me that I don't know why the traditional challenge is called the way it is. So I searched the forum and red about it. Now that I know - I am sorry that I offered to move it. If I have offended somebody - please excuse me, it was not my intention !

I probably should have posted this here earlier, but the Favorite Four Layer (SAK) challenge is in June.
