Newbie Introduction
« on: October 08, 2021, 08:28:50 PM »
I'm not at all sure this is the right place for this. I'm sure someone friendly will sort it if it isn't. I'm into EDC and always carry my Cyber Tool Lite and a second larger multitool when I leave the house. Living in the UK my options are limited because we have some silly laws. Governments never seem to realise that criminals ignore the rules anyway, then pile on stuff which only affects law abiding citizens like us! This place looks brilliant and I look forward to contributing and learning from the huge audience of like-minded people here.

Chasman

Welcome. You've endangered yourself to becoming a SAK addict. Lots to learn here; a great bunch of folks.
Any questions, just ask. Most of the 91 mm and smaller SAKs I believe are UK correct. You are right
crazy laws (on this side of the pond also).   :salute:

Welcome, Chasman! Many of us know exactly what you mean living with the same laws! Cybertool lite is a great tool, though I’ve disassembled both of mine for modification purposes…. Welcome!

Welcome aboard, Chasman! Lots of knowledge here, and much fun to be had as well. I definitely encourage you to participate in a forum challenge.

I believe the 93mm models are just compliant with UK law as well.

Current SAKs: too many to list in a mere 512 characters.

Evening, chap!

Yeah, options are limited, but really it's not so bad. SAKs are good enough that they generally cover most EDC situations... and you can still carry some of the scary stuff at those times when you have good reason, ie work blade, bushcraft, etc.

93mm are plenty compliant. :) it's the old 108mm that only just about, technically, squeeze in under the stated limit.

Wow! What a fantastic welcome. Sorry about the hiatus... car problems eating my spare time.
