Is the steel going to be 154CM or CPM154, the newer powdermetallurgic version ?
The latter is a little bit better in all area's,

Like stated it is 154cm. ScrapYard/Busse uses a special heat treating process that is one of the best in the biz.
it's one of the reasons they are so popular! Used for Infi, SR-101, SR-77 and 154cm.

can your blade do this? (154cm)

and go back to normal, while still able cut and do fine work?
yet still a stainless and with all the benefits of it.

I'm not saying it's the best, and not everybody needs or wants this,
personally I think it is one of the better ones and want my tools to last ;)

If this is no trickery than they sure do something special to that 154CM, as every blade made from this steel that i know of would shatter way before this point.
My Busse ASH1LE (INFI) can do the same and even further, and my K9 Dingo (CPM3V) probably would also if it weren't for it's 6,4 mm thickness, but that's about it.
But i would need to testdrive the edgeholding of this particular 154CM blade first to see for myself if it really is up there with the regular stuff.

I hear ya bro! another thing I like about the Busse-Clan is if you don't like their products
for whatever reason the resale value is tremendous!
