It's been a while since I carried/used the Wingman.

Here it is removing some plastic tags from a pair of ready to wear reading glasses which are handy for work (when I'm allowed back  ::))
They don't like it up 'em!

Due to various reasons (life) I've not been here for a while  ::)

The Wingman helped restock the "anti-pigeon" bird feeder  ;)
Stay safe awl... :drink:

I was not aware the WINGMAN was honored on Wednesdays😉

Of the 3 intro level tools, the WINGMAN is my favorite! (Rev, SideKick, Wingman)

Mine is currently part of my LEGO building kit, allowing me to pick up small pieces, and spring loaded pliers are a benefit .

Will look forward to next week😎

 Wingman Wednesday  :woohoo:

Forgot last Wednesday

And almost to post today.

Happy to report, my Wingman was in service this afternoon via a loan to a craft teacher at the Y for summer camp. He had 400 packages that required opening Tuesday and today for campers to assemble on Thursday.
What was in the boxes? Is still a mystery. But, the craft master indicated the opening tool did a great job and non of his assistances cut themselves.

Showing some more support (for the Challenge rhymes with orange)   :salute:

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,90922.0.html

Having been stood down from an overseas deployment (won't last long  ::)) I decided to get the Wingman out and check it for my SAR stuff (used as back-up for my Vic' Rescue Tool)

I needn't have worried it's fine  :tu:

I got the little pink notice when I tried to post here.  It had some writing on it, but it is very early in the morning to read boilerplate with my bleary eyes.  So, I will just post something anyway.  It has been over a year since anyone has done any Wingmanning on this thread.  I think those of us on the Rotation Challenge are reviving some of these old largely unused daily threads.  For a while anyway.  Best wishes.  G

It's been some time since I carried a Wingman, but if someone happens to be walking around the edge of my woods and finds the one that fell through a hole in my pocket a couple of summers ago while trying to find a boundary stake, do let me know. I found the stake, but the Wingman has flown.

Dang it.  That was a pretty handy little tool. The Gerber is OK too, but I think Leatherman screwdrivers are tougher.

Got the same pink warning notice.  This thread is old.  Covered in dust and spiders.  Enter at your own risk.  Carried an ever popular Wingman along while cutting down some stuff that was hanging down where it should have been hanging up.  Hazard to mowing.  Wild roses.  Privet.  Honeysuckle.  I did notice the honeysuckle was in full fragrant bloom.
I think the Wingman platform was better regarded before the price increases.  Now, I think it is relegated to the light-duty, not such a good buy for the money tool.  A friend said he didn't like any Leatherman that had scissors.  Someone out there is probably thinking, "It is a light-duty, not such a good buy for the money tool, but at least it has scissors."  Can't make 'em all happy.  Best wishes.  G

I started to have some kiddie junk cereal for breakfast, but couldn't face the sugar, artificial colors, and additives this morning.  Toasted a couple of sandwich rolls instead with a generous dollop of butter on them.  Mmmm.  G

Great Wingman photos, y'awl! :tu: While I no longer have my Wingman (if memory serves me correctly, it now lives with Gary), I do have brick separators as seen at the left of Gordon's photo.

That is a good thing!

You have grounds to replace it, she has better understanding why you have what you have.

But, then again, once you and she became a unit, WHATEVER IS YOURS is now HERS, and WHATEVER IS HERS is N O T  YOURS!   Universal truth around this world we live😳😀
