                        Day 3

Had to make a quick repair to the fence. Used the Rebar to measure how I should bend a piece of .... rebar  :D . The makeshift bracket worked well.

Day 3

Mostly a lot of small tasks today; opening packages, turned a few screws, filed a broken car key-fob.

Boiled some pine needles and had a cup of pine tea

How do you make pine tea?  I assume you use live needles picked from the tree?

Day 3

As I mentioned before, we have a constant procession of packages being delivered to our door.  This is one of the reasons I use my blade so much, for both opening packages and for breaking down boxes for recycle.  Today's pic is boxes we have received since Monday broken down using my Rebar blade.  During the PST challenge, I complained about missing a one-hand opening blade, so I am still feeling the pain with the Rebar. On the positive side, I really like the locking mechanism on the Rebar - it's large and very easy to use.

Over the weekend, I need to find a good pocket clip solution for this Rebar.  Like the PST, it slides down to the bottom of my pocket and rides horizontally.  For the PST, I added a suspension clip and it worked great.  I might have to try that with the Rebar, or maybe even use a Nite Ize pocket clip.

Either option will be great for a semi permanent solution; I prefer the suspension clip since it is easily removable, easily reattachable, leaves no gummy/sticky residue, doscrete and easily transferred between different tools (assuming they have an eyelet or lanyard ring). But, if so inclined, you can do the "Wave pocket clip mod" as done by some of our members (it's somewhere under The Mod Squad or The Rebar Owners club and, although the clip is removable, the mod is not); now, there's something to look at!

This is, by far, my favorite pocket clip mod for the Rebar, but I don't want to destroy one of my Kicks  :(
