Blanton's is both rare and popular, so expect a ridiculous markup.  Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is MUCH easier to find, and it's just as good (albeit different) IMO.

Hello day 16.
Time for a new brew.  Rebar to remove the lid for a start. Now to wait 6 or 7 days for brewing to finish.

Day 16

Rebar saves the day!

I drilled these holes through the top of a wall above an electrical panel:

There is only 10" (25.4 cm) of space between the top of the wall and the floor above, so I had to use a short paddle (spade) bit fully inserted in my drill. With the bit fully inserted, it will not penetrate the top plate of the wood-framed wall. So, after drilling a hole the bit must be repositioned in the drill chuck to create enough length to penetrate the top plate. However, due to the construction of the bit it is easy to shear off the end of the shaft. You must adjust the clutch to reduce the amount of torque. I forgot to do this for the first hole.

The bit was stuck in the hole. However, with the help of the Rebar and by using the edge of the hole as a fulcrum, I was able to leverage the bit out of the hole. Though the end of the shaft has been sheared off, the bit is still useable and so is the hole.

Day 17

December 17

Was opening paint cans for touch up work. Was using the flat driver of the Rebar on me. Then I thought about the flat driver of the Wingman in that it felt ‘beefier’ as a pry tool.  I placed them side-by-side and well, both have their pros and cons. Anyway, I think the finger tab of the Wingman tools *might* need a *tiny* bit of trimming down to perfectly fit the Rebar.
