So, I made a mask
on: January 06, 2022, 08:22:08 AM
So I made a mask, it's the first project I have done with a bought template and instructions and I learned a lot.

The instructions said the the straps was supposed to get fastened on the inside but we will see if I change it

My first forum selfie

Now I have to get a strapcutter so I can make nicer straps. They are fastened with Chicago screws so I can make changes later on

Cor, that looks nicely done - The curvature of the beak seems to have worked out really well!

I'd be just a little worried if I saw you wearing that one in public, though! :D

Thanks! Is i said, it was a bought pattern and I don't know if I had pulled it off on my own.

I wanted to have it to the store but my wife wasn't as happy about it as I am

It has breathing holes underneath so as a surgical mask it's not any good

Looks awesome! You could just have a normal facemask underneath

As I recall, you stuff the beak with cloves and oranges, because the pleasant scent is what's supposed to stop you catching bubonic plague....

I was also born in Glenfinnan, in the Highlands of Scotland and I'm pretty handy with a sword... and no, I'm not joking about that!

We've all been Brits pretty much since a Scottish king took the throne of England and unified the crowns in 1603.
