I guess I don't see any benefit to the upgrade for me anyway. Just means I'll have to download new drivers and configure to look the way I want it. I use classic shell on my pc because I like how it works like the older Win versions as far as start button and menu.

The way the updates have updated the look of Win10 so slowly over the years I almost forget what it looked like originally ??? :D

Maybe it is just me, but Win 11 looks very close to 10.

Biggest difference I'm noticing is an improved photo sorting.  Search function might be an improvement too.  The new look files I can take or leave.

One thing I don't like about Windows 10 is not being able to sort the order of files (especially photos) manually.

I've got no advantage in upgrading so I'm sticking with 10.

Plus this bugs me

Here's a cool Windows 11 wallpaper, shared with Windows Insiders. Can use with Window 10 too  :D

I upgraded, took about an hour.

The app that is supposed to introduce me to the new features is "prevented" from opening.

Come to think of it, I didn't see anything telling what was different. What I do not like right now is how a new screen pops up whenever I try to plug my phone in to upload photos. I much prefer opening it in file explorer and doing everything manually.

Same here.  Looks like they just changed some stuff - like the interface when you hit the Windows icon - just for the sake of changing something.

Hopefully, Microsoft added some secret stuff to help them spy on us better.  Key loggers and so forth.   :salute:

Happily on Win 8.1 here, don't fix what ain't broke, I passed on 10 as an upgrade and this won't happen until I buy a new computer in like a decade  :dunno:

Yes, but much faster than previous releases!

That reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where Homer changes his name to Max Power.

Homer: From now on there are three ways to do things- the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way!

Bart: isn't that the same as the wrong way?

Homer: Yes, but FASTER!

If your only tool is Windows, everything looks like a glitch.

Lastest update and I got and overzealous full screen "upgrade to windows 11 now" after reboot... Reminded me of the Edge push some time back... Annoys me the upgrade icon is always in the tray.

I'm not ready yet.
