Many of the Minis that were NIB or in excellent shape on ebay were $150 and higher (much higher).

I focused on 2 auctions. One Mini in great shape and with sheath, the other Mini looked to be in good shape and paired with a Micra. I sensed that the Mini with sheath was going to go above my personal limit and decided to bid on the Mini/Micra pair. I managed to win with a bid of $71. The winning bid for the other Mini was $96.

I still can't believe how expensive that they have gotten over the last few years

Congrats on winning that auction Adam.  I'm glad I already have mine because they are way out of my price range now.  Since you didn't get a sheath with your Mini you can get a small Schrade sheath originally intended for the Schrade Tough Chip for around $2.00 or less on E-Bay, and the Mini Tool will fit perfectly.

Not that I'm going to buy one (really looking at Micras and ST300s), but I did look at them last night.  Probably bumped the stock price up a couple of points.   A friend of mine gave me the BO Mini with some other stuff when he was doing some gear cleanout.  Of course that was in the days when they were available.

My BO Mini was gifted to me by a kind member here on the forum when I had a WTB up on the Tools needed forum  :tu:

By the way, I also have a Tough Chip without a sheath. I guess I might as well get 2 of them.

Even though I knew its dimensons, I was still surprised that it was the same length as the Micra when folded up.

I really  :like: that it is a full size pliers that will fit easily in my pocket. That outweighs the reduced toolset. And besides, the file/straight driver looks cool

I did a video over on Youtube about the  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh !!!MINI!!! :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :pok: I compared it to several tools and the Micra was one of them

I really love the size of it and how easily it pockets :dd: It is great to pair with a small SAK and go just about anywhere and still feel pretty prepared :like:

Yeah, I watched your video last week, but was still surprised in a way when I saw the 2 together in person.

Hadn't known if you had seen the video,  Adam but it really is surprising to see one I person, seeing how small it really is and actually folding out to full sized pliers  :o :like: :like:

I bumped the combo-edge thread but it's not listed under the 2022 challenges and it's kind of been buried since August.  I was going to do that one too, but I forgot about it.  If it's still going to happen I may have to bow out of this one because the combo-edge challenge would be easier for me in February.

Hey everyone!  I was lucky enough to be given a ‘post-quarantine’ gift from Fireman, on the condition that I take over his slot in the challenge. Thank you very much, my friend!

Zephon is ready for February!

Btw, should the title read ‘……2022’ ?
