Got this one off of Amazon. Marketed for Humvee, it looked different from the majority of generic multi-tools that appear to populate Amazon. The metal has a black oxide finish that appears somewhat stone washed to give it more of a rugged look. The handles are coated in rubber to give a nice grip. I will only know years down the road if this is the type of rubber that will denature and become sticky. The sheath is a pain in the butt however, as it has a redundant plastic closure on top of the Velcro. Furthermore, not a big fan of where they decided to hid the included driver bit carrier. I can imagine it might be a bear to get once the sheath is strapped onto your belt. No locking mechanism either, and the pliers are spring loaded.

I like the looks of that one. I agree with you that it does not look like a lot of the cheaper tools on the market and also like the sheath. May take a closer look at that tool myself!

I have a soft spot for multi-tools that accept the square-hole bit adapter. And this one looks rather nice. :like:

How exactly does it attach to a belt?  I see the bits seem to fit in their own pocket on the back of the sheath but I didn't see where a belt would go through it. :dunno:

There is a belt loop sandwiched between the front of the bit carrier pocket and the bit carrier Velcro flap.

Is the tool on the left side a package opener or just some kind of cool looking multi purpose hook?

Also, are there spacers on the left handle?  It seems like the blade and hook thing would take up the same amount of space as the saw and the bottle opener/driver, so it seems like the small slotted driver on the left is taking up the same space as the thick square bit driver.  Maybe I am seeing it wrong.

It is a seatbelt cutter or for anything that would fit in there. Yes, there is a spacer on the left side.

My litmus test on these off brand tools is: How good /bad is the saw on a scale of 1-10?
With the infamous Gerber Suspension saw being a 1 (yes, I am being generous here) and a Victorinox being a 10.
