parnass, thanks for the video, I used not to think much about Pliers, but this featured mini pliers is nothing like what I have seen in the past.  Very cool tool and now I want one for my kit!

The Plier Wrenches have put all my adjustables out to pasture . Knipex also makes a 5.5" version that comes in a double pouch alongside a Cobra .

In my tool case I carry a 10" Plier Wrench , a 7" Cobra , and a 10" Alligator .

There is a quick adjusting version of the Cobra , and a version called the Raptor , just for bolts .

Traditional waterpump pliers and small pipe wrenches , might as well roll over and play dead !

For Canuck members, Lowes Canada has a limited selection . ( at about the same price as Amazon )

BTW , the buttons fast a very long time . The finish on the Plier Wrench is a matt hard chrome .

There is also a 6" version of the Plier Wrench with crosshatched jaws . (for squishing cable ties , in the aviation industry )

At the risk of doing a mini thread Hi Jack , another German line called NWS is really worth a look . They are quite reasonable in price, quality is comparable to Knipex . They have the most comfortable grips in the business . Chad's Tool Box , and an outfit called German Hand Tools carries them . Like knipex they come in a variety of grip styles and finishes .

Never seen those Plier Wrenches before but they're really rather expensive! £30 for the smallest?
Look good though.
I'll stick with my 7" Irwin Vice Grip water pump pliers for now, 1/3rd the price.

If you get the new ones you'll want a couple of the old ones beware the thin ice of the Plierench/ Plier Wrench pond once you jump in...........

I figured I would help a brother out since I am already swimming in the deep end of the pool with millstones tied to both hands and feet.

These are on my list of desirables as well.  I'm waiting for someone to mess up and mislist one on the 'bay so I can buy it cheap since most of my budget goes to the vintage versions.  I haven't made a pawn shop crawl in while....

That makes this thread about half as old as my newest Knipex
