What type of oil do all of you use for your multitools?

Just as the title states, what do you all use to oil the pivots on your multitools? I have been using various oils, like Buck Knife oil, Hoppes, Mineral oil, gun oil, and good old 3 in 1. I just picked up some Liquid Wrench penetrating oil on closeout and was thinking of trying that. Also, this may sound crazy, but we have a treadmill that bit the dust and have a bunch of unused lubricating oil for it that I hate to throw out. I think it was made to actually get put on the walking belt of the tread mill, but can this be used? That may sound like a stupid question, and the bottles that this oil is in does not state what type of oil it is, or what it is made of. Any help would be appreciated!

Another one here using mineral oil; I use it in all my knife, and pliers based multitools.
Safe, good for food prep tools, cheap, easy to find, and also a "kinda multi tool" as it not only lubes, but can be used as a laxative, to protect wood, and to relief dry skin.

+1 for mineral oil, also use Victorinox MT oil - the small dropper on the bottle makes it easy to get into tight spots

Thanks everybody! Looks like what I have been using is fine, and maybe mineral oil is a bit more than fine! Just wish I knew what kind of lubricant I have that came with our tread mill. I may have to investigate that a little more, but may try some on a few of my older cheaper tools.

Another vote here for mineral oil. It's cheap, food safe, and widely available at any grocery store. I use a cheap precision oil pen for application only where needed. A little goes a long way in my experience with it.

85 wt Nano Oil, I've been using the same syringe style bottle for over 6 years.

3-in-1 oil, usually the PTFE version. The PTFE version is supposed to be silicone- and elastomer-safe, so I use that on my Free P4.

Uncle Def's Premium and Ultra Premium Tool Oil! It's top shelf!
Sadly, I never got any of this miracle wonder oil. Granted, it's just mineral oil you can by by the
butt load
at any pharmacy or grocery store, but it still works better than other oils through sheer force of will.
