Very interesting, I’d not come across that the MXBS is being issued to the Australian Army before, but a quick search and I’ve found it locally. Very wise to come back to the Swiss Tool again IMO, thanks for the info https://www.contactairlandandsea.com/2021/03/11/victorinox-wins-adf-multi-tool-contract/
Where is it? I can't see it in the RAAF shop.
I've seen pictures and videos of it. Where did they get it from? I've waited and waited, and it's still nowhere.
I don't understand why the OHO devices are always on the normal blades and NOT on the belt cutter blades. The belt cutter blade is THE blade you want to open ASAP in case of emergency. All other tools can wait.
As far as I can tell it is on the regular blade AND the belt cutter.I ordered one, so I can tell you for this particular model once it arrives. I also have a stainless one at home, will check tonight but I think it is the same.
Just checked my B/O one and I can confirm that the OHO is on the main blade AND the belt cutter It's a cracking little MT and VERY well made (I would love a Surge sized version though Vic' ) I can also vouch for Elsinox as a thoroughly decent human without whom I would be...erm; without
Does yours have CC?
For $220 I can ship you the MXBS worldwide.
Thanks for the pictures! What I in fact tried to tell is that IMHO it would be best to put the OHO device ONLY on the Belt Cutters and NOT on the other blades, because the Belt Cutters is the only tool you really need in case of emergency. However, what a beautiful special Spirit!
That is pretty sweet, do I want one... yes.
