Today was flea market day.
I don't know what to think of this big old Schatt/Queen Kentucky Shiner. It is just under 10 years old, shows no visible abuse or wear, and yet has substantial wobbles on both axis'. It feels like the pivot pin is worn. Not sure how that can happen in such a short time, and yet look so nice with no signs of external abuse. Maybe it is as simple as a slight burr on the D2 steel rubbing the softer pin. Either way,,, the price was right. I pointed out the wobbling and asked for a price,,, he said $5.00. So we have another project knife I guess. At 4.75" closed,,, it's pretty large.
The scissors are Gingher brand and they were only 50 cents. They are heading for my tool box.
And lastly,,,, I've always liked Timex Indiglo watches.
Not a bad haul for $10.50
