Where are the Carbon Fiber Damascus Charge lovers at?

Out of all the Charge models ever made, I honestly believe the Carbon Fiber Damascus is the best looking one. Anyone else agrees?

That’s for a lightly used one on a very good day. These things have gone for $1,500 brand new outside of eBay.

It was a very limited series, according not only to the web in general but also the retired products page of LTG. they sold for $300.00 USD when new, each. Too bad they're waaaay out of my price league, as these pair look promising.

(Now I get it: ONE OF THE EMPTY SLOTS IN THE PICTURE IS FOR A WOOD/GOLD ONE!!!!! :dd:

They sold for $300 and I was contemplating them on the website when they went live, and thought: “$300 is WAY too much for a Charge” and walked away. Had a change of mind and came back about 2 hours later and they were already sold out. Fast forward 8 months and I ended up buying both the carbon and the wood Damascus for 3 times what they were worth originally………

The wood one is very attractive, but I wouldn't have purchased it for $300.  I think limited edition versions like that are for the Chako level collectors.  I'm just a dabbler in the field  :multi:

Ooh my, can I relate to that thought!!!!
Although I did found 600USD a bit  too much to my liking, after some time thinking over the potential value it could had in the future (and for the prices you gave, I was right! :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:) decided to get a pair; not gonna happen, all gone. And to think that it was the only time I thought as to buy anything as an investment... all well, leason learned.

I don't have them because when they came out, I was done with Leatherman and wasn't buying anything new. In fact, I walked away from them for a period of 5 years, never even looking at what was new etc.

Because of the crazy prices, I am not even looking at acquiring them for my collection either.

The CF Charge is undoubtedly one of the all-time greats! I'm surprised they haven't done more of them or at least a different variant yet. If they did a CF scale charge with the extra features of the NASA charge, that would be the ultimate Leatherman!
