Spartan w/o keychain or scale tools
on: December 08, 2021, 11:02:18 PM
Is a Spartan without keychain uncommon? Or was this common for company logo branded knives?

Also were company branded reverse Vic logo scales common to not have scale tools?

Does the +bow tang stamp estimate the knife to be 1990’s?

According to SAKWiki, the Spartan’s predecessor without keyring, toothpick, or tweezers was called the Standard.

Oh wow, I forgot about the Standard! I guess that’s what this is.  Thanks!

Closeup stills would be easier for me to see. Late ‘80s to early ‘90s would be my broad estimate. Parts are from late ‘80s (opener backspring) but advertising knives are likely using parts being disposed of in my estimation early ‘90s.

I will take some and post. It’s just annoying that Tapatalk limits how many pics I can post a month, so I have to access the site via browser.

I did learn this is a Standard. Didn’t even remember this variant.
