For those just learning about these amazing LE SAKs, @Chako did a great review of both the Wenger and Victorinox when they first came out.  It can be found here:

Sorry to revive the thread.

I have a couple of questions. Does anyone actually use the Vic anniversary or Wenger heritage knife? Or are the just for collectors.

I am partial to using my soldier knives, but these seem too nice to use.

Anyone know what they sell for now?

One member, at least, used to use his, though I do not remember the name.

People regularly use 500+ Euro folders so it is not abnormal.

Thanks for the responses.

I may have got extremely lucky and picked a wenger up for a bargain. The box is is rough condition. Knife has never been used. I will have it confirmed in a couple of days.

Honestly not sure sure if I should carry it. Or store it. I want to use it.

Yeah I did wonder about my choice of words.

Umm so "use it in this life or shelf it in the hope that you find it in the next" then?

Really you need at least 3, one to use now, one to leave somewhere where you can pick it up when/if you are reborn (assuming you remember) and one to have buried with you to cover other eventualities like resurrection, becoming a zombie, taking it with you in the afterlife and so on.

You may also want to have even more if you want to pass them on to offsprings as an inheritance....
