Hi,

I am a new member from northeast OH.

I have had SAKs for a long time but don't seem to carry them very often.  I started to mildly collect some models and joined to learn more about them.  I am amazed at all the models ad variations over time.

I wish I would have started a long time ago more seriously as there are many models now discontinued like the Yeoman, Scientist, Engineer that I would like to find.

If anyone could suggest some other sites to buy older SAKs I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome.  As for sites in which to buy SAKs  :think:.  The SAKperts should be along shortly to help.  Every once in a while you'll see some really nice discontinued SAKs for sale on our for sale threads.

Another welcome to  :MTO:  from the Detroit area! As for where to find SAKs, check locally (Craigslist, OfferUp, FB Marketplace, and the like). I found a pre-1973 that appeared to be complete, intact, and correct on the Detroit Craigslist. Asking price? All of $5. I didn't get it, but hopefully MadPlumbarian did.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  I get up to the plymouth MI area several times a year for shooting match which is real close to Detroit.

I am amazed at the amount of information here.  I think I skimmed through 50 pages of posts in the last couple days.  The SAKWiki site is also amazing with the depth of information it has.  I bought the swiss army knife collectors companion and was a little disappointed in the lack of information on models.  I guess you have to use SAKwiki for that.
