Can anyone identify this Victorinox model?
on: November 25, 2021, 05:03:09 AM
I bought this Tiffany & Co. 58mm knife that I had never seen before.  The knife is made by Victorinox.  It has the tools of a Classic knife plus one pointed blade with a hole.  Can anyone identify this Victorinox model?

It’s definitely a custom, made with the Tiffany “Atlas” scales, which are an homage to the clock outside the Manhattan Tiffany & co. store on Fifth Avenue. There is or was a whole line of Atlas goods.

Another way you can tell it’s a custom is, the knife blade is on the same side as the keyring, so it was built with Classic parts, rather than being a Rambler with the combo tool replaced by the Spydie blade, which would put the keyring on the opposite end. It probably started off as a Tiffany Altas Classic SD to which an additional layer was added.

Thanks for the in-depth info.

The spydie knife and darkened blades looks to be the work of a custom maker who lives in Florida.
He sells on eBay.  I think he may be a member here.

This is the guy I'm thinking of.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Yup, there's a lot of posts with his work in the mod threads. Look those up.
