Wow! And congrats on the great deal even if it’s not the price you wanted!
Thank you Vicman and kamakiri.  At least I got $11.00 eBay bucks as there is an 8% deal going on right now, at least it's a little bonus for buying right now.
Of course now that I've purchased one, a bunch of them will show up at $30 a piece.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

FB, that’s Sod’s law for you! Only way to avoid that it stop looking and enjoy what you’ve got - I did that with the stupid price Nespresso purple/arpeggio but I had to complete the set!

That’s how it goes!

Happened to me recently on something I’m too ashamed to post. Grossly overpaid to get something that doesn’t show up very often, but have been wanting. Another one shows up Buy-it-now for less than half shipped. I bought that one too.

Seriously, I think you did well.

I wonder if they will get that much?  :dunno:

Thank you kamakiri, it could have been worse.  You did right by buying the less than half one too, I'd have done the same.  Helps to even out the overpriced one.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

FB, that’s Sod’s law for you!
Speaking of Sod's law, I heard someone say the phrase "Mugged off" on YouTube.  I don't know that phrase, but I think in the US it might be something like "Ripped off." Yes?  :dunno:

I had to Google it.  Seems it is about being swindled, etc.

Hello all,

I am bumping this older thread as a public service in case there is someone else out there looking for this book.  I have a friend who has an English language copy for sale.  He's asking $150 USD plus shipping from Switzerland.

He's not a member of MTO, but I've known him for quite a few years and we've bought/sold/traded numerous SAKs and other things over the years so I can vouch for his character.  He's going to take a couple pictures of his copy, so when I get them I'll bump the thread again with his pics.

Just to be clear, the book is not in my possession.  What I am offering is to put an interested party in touch with a friend who has one for sale, and then I will butt out.  Any negotiation or other arrangements that go forward would be up to the two of you.

Myron

As promised, some pictures of the book that is available from my friend, Hans.  If anyone is interested send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with him.

Thanks,

Myron

Prices on these have been all over the place in the last year since this thread was started.

Glad I got one at less than crazy pricing.

It’s a good resource for collectors, but the less crazy people can get most of the same info from the newer Collectors Companion.
