I think some of us forget that underneath that colored coating is a shiny piece of steel.
Lol.

But these basically come like this. If you have ever bought a black Oxide Leatherman, it's just seems to be in their process. Is black Oxide coating similar to a dlc or no? Because I have black dlc coatings that are extremely uniform in contrast.

I don't remember exactly what process Leatherman uses. I'm fond of cerakote myself. I also like whatever Spyderco uses on their Salt series of BO coating. It wears very well in my experience.

they use TiNi (Titanium Nitride) that I also like a lot, but it's not as tough as DLC Coating.
I think LM uses neither of those

I would like give this a :bump:

I knew that LM came out with a Jungle (Olive Drab) Rebar but haven't seen one out in the wild except for when they sold them on their website (back in 2017) and the one kaput has :ahhh

Anyone else have one of these and perhaps willing to part with it :ahhh

I looked around this evening, but did not find any OD green Rebars available. Saw some Supreme branded Rebars, but they are overpriced and not very appealing looks-wise to me.
If I do find one for sell, I will see if I can get Poncho and Rich into a bidding war for the info  >:D

I do know that loki was getting into making cerakote handles. Perhaps he makes/could make OD green Rebar handles?  :dunno:

Also never seen one of these for sale before, ever. Were these actually sold for some time, or was it one of those weird things where you could get them as factory seconds, so like 5 guys in Oregon have this?

They look great.  I wonder why the Jungle came with SS tools?  I sent a Green Signal down under with all black tools which IMO looked awesome.

I just got my green Topo Signal the other day.  Definitely like the black tools in it.

Really like the look of the Coyote Rebar though and my local Cabela's has some in stock.  Guess it's time for a wee visit.  LOL.

No, these were on their website for sale for a while and I stupidly thought they would be there a while and never got one
