Victorinox Pioneer 0.8201.28 / 2220g, c1982

Hello guys

I just grabbed this c1982 (?) golden Victorinox Pioneer 0.8201.28 (2220g), with brass liners & Keyring spacer, and NO Old Cross at either side, Sans Croix. The actual color looks flat, unlike bright, as seen in c2000 and later Golden Alox Vics. The golden finish looks intact all the way. Did you ever see one of these?

I've not seen one in the flesh so to speak, but have seen pics of them, congratulations that's a winner  :like:

Thank you, Echotech. I just searched  the forum, and found a thread about the Swiss Army Knife 70 by Wenger. That's all. Maybe that chat is no longer available? By the way, I have seen Vic Excelsiors and Wen Patriots w/o cross.

This is the thread I was thinking of.....doesn't seem to have a gold one without an OC though,so may be a special run, either way I'd say it's very rare

Gorgeous Pioneer!  I've only seen pictures of these golden sans croix knives, and yours is the best I've ever seen.  With the box too!  Congratulations and welcome to MTO.
