That's the darkest I've seen Thunder Gray look. Is that a trick of the camera/lighting, or does it look different depending upon the light it's viewed in?
I think it is a darker rendition of it.  I bought all three at the same time from the same dealer.  It does look darker than the other two, I don't know why.  :dunno:

Thanks.  I like bolt action.  Is the ink refill proprietary?

I just recently got my 2nd Titaner mini which I edc.  It can use Fisher refills among many others which is something that I like, but it is also more expensive.

I may have to pick one up, you can never have too many pens.

It's branded Olight, but I'm not sure if the size is actually proprietary or not, here's a pic of it next to a normal Fisher Space refill. I know Fisher does the snap-off refill to fit different pens, I'm not sure how small that goes.

All three appear to have different shading. Any differences between the Pioneer X and Hunter Pro are more subtle. I hope I'll be able to pick up at least one just to see what shade I get. Thanks for the additional photos!

Needed to get the small tongs off of the package.  Victorinox scissors make quick work of zip ties.

I'd much rather deal with zip ties than a clam pack! And yes, Victorinox scissors excel at zip tie removal.

That helps a lot.  It almost looks like it might be around a parker size in which case the adapter may make it fit.

The silver refill is the Olight one, the bare fisher refill is too long for the O'Pen body, the refill is about 75mm long, so maybe using the universal refill (https://www.thepencompany.com/product/fisher-space-pen-universal-ballpoint-refill-q4-multifunction/) with the parker adapter might work. It's the only thing I don't like about the Open series as a whole, I'd like to be able to use my normal Fisher refills.

Thanks for clarifying.  I agree.  I hate proprietary or hard to acquire refills.

What better than to use the scissors on a Fisherman than to cut string and tie a fisherman knot in it.

Day 12

Take out and movie day doesn't lead to any uses, so here's a comparison of different size SAK scissors. My collection isn't as robust as some here, but I think I got most of them?

Having them whether needed or not is nice, because wishing you had them when you don’t stinks.

I like that lantern.  I have one that usually stays in the cupboard for emergencies.

Got way behind because i’ve been out on my cabin property where there is no electricity so no Internet. So I’m Attempting to post from my phone  :ahhhDAY 10 - used the Explorer scissors to cut some thread for sewing
DAY 11 - used to the Farmer X scissor to cut some twine for a bamboo structure I was fixing
DAY 12 - used the Explorer scissors to cut my nails
DAY 13 - used the Explorer again yesterday to snip some insulation strips and the tip of the scissors to poke a hole in the top of a glue bottle. Worked quite well.

Great pictures everyone!  :salute:
 Please excuse my absence
