Mystery vintage multi tool solved
on: February 17, 2022, 08:28:52 AM
I found this wonderous little old multitool in an antique shop in Dunkirk, France.
Only marked "London", "Meter" and "23", but no on knife tang stamp.

Video link:
Pictures below.

So I did what anyone would do, stand in front of my attic mirror, do a creepy chant and summon Jsews from the beyond.
And so he appeared, with his wealth of knowledge he was able to conjure up a similar piece and determine it was likely a German Henckels Friodur.
I say "likely" because a good mystery is never truly solved.

Anyway, you be the detective now, I thought I found the Jimmy Hoffa of multitools, but it's just another cool rare piece, luckily not buried in concrete.

Thanks Bob

Can you contact my grandfather? Please ask him where he left his electrical tools.

By the way, nice score on the multitool  :tu:

Must be a hand made British copy of the German Henckels or why would it say London on it. Awesome find!
