DAY 17
Today Mrs Surge and I celebrated 25 years of happiness being together  :pok: :twak:

I took her to a very old school restaurant* in a rather posh part of the big smoke (think 70's - 80's throwback) with impeccable service and HUGE portions

As is awlways the case here in the UK going tooled up is not an option  ::) Therefore, here's a glamour shot of the Spirit hanging out with her prized Rhododendron in some welcome sunshine earlier today  :tu:

* https://oslocourtrestaurant.co.uk/ (the ladies menu comes without the prices, as it should  ;))

Congratulations Surge. Taking the Spirit might've spoilt next years "being together" thing :pok: so wise choice

Day 18, If I could just incorporate a “bluetooth mouse” tool into my SwissTool RT my job would be so much more fun.
That’s a cool looking mouse

I had the mini bugout before, but gotta say that I like the large version much better. Much better grip with all fingers  :tu:

Day 18

Absolutely! I prefer the full size versions, like the griptillian, the full size is perfect, but the mini is a little too small for what I need.

Mrs Surge and I would like to thank you awl for your anniversary messages  :hatsoff:

As for GF's suggestion she is about to be sainted I'll have you know that I'm an absolute f*#$ing delight  :pok:

Your collective shots/uses put my meagre efforts to shame as will no doubt be evidenced by my feeble efforts shortly  ::)

Carry on the good work  :salute:

Another training delivery shift so no use for the work SwissTool again  ::)

However, the Spirit was put on postal duties this evening when I got home (I feel old reading that headline on the magazine cover  :ahhh)

Nothing too exciting - just cutting a lemon for some sparkling water...the blade does a nice job and sliced right through it!

You're making me want to try that with a carbon steel blade and see what happens. Good use! :tu:

While out doing errands, I found a place with one of my favorite chips that is hard to find.  The Spirit opened a bag of them

Day 19/31

G'Day,

Cutting duties as per normal everyday, mid-day snacks. I also got the Spirit to look on whilst I got my last train ready for service. Train passed with flying colours!!!  :woohoo:

I really like that blade on the Spirit.  I  don’t think it gets the credit it deserves for how useful it is.

Yeah, unless I want a pokey blade point, it pretty much handles everything I need.  And the awl is pretty pokey for those instances.   :salute:
