Mine came weirdly quick, but I'm not complaining! Here's a video I took yesterday of the jaws. I'm currently driving right now, otherwise I'd make a new/better video.

I wonder why they made the needle nose smooth faced as in no grip grooves

I’m guessing as a salute to the original design. Just a guess though.

So can someone who has one verify if/how these are individually serialized? The guy on instagram mentioned they were uniquely serialized, but did not show how.

I just got mine 9.1 ounces without the sheath and 10.3 ounces with the sheath. Fit and finish on mine is good. Odd tool choice again. A side opening eyeglasses screwdriver bit. Kind of silly. Anyway, pictures below.

Getting excited for my delivery next week. I think smooth jaws are interesting. They will not mar soft materials or nuts. The way the pliers work is pretty slick. Love the chisel.

The jaws were what piqued me the most. Now that I see it in action, it is definitely a gadgety / collectible thing.  :tu:

I think the serial number is stamped right on the outside scales. Starts with BO....the numbers are alk different from the pics I have seen.

I don’t have mine yet, but this sounds like a mystery that needs to be deciphered.

I just received my pass to the most exclusive Leatherman club  :woohoo:

My first impression is that it feels much more heavy duty than I expected.  I'm still on the fence if I'm going to use it or not... especially since they are already selling for $800+ on eBay  :o

Long long time lurker, but recently created account. Proud owner of a  Mr. Crunch! My daily LMs are a Surge and a very customized Tread, but I plan to use my Mr. Crunch for a while.

Am noticing that there is some compounding action due to the geometry of the wrap around pliers. Really clever setup.

The side of the chisel seems to have been finished to be a scraper of some sort too, likely work really well on a ferro rod.
