The Skinth CP (Command Post) combines the simplicity of analog note taking and the sophistication data tracking and organization of a smart phone.

This example of the Skinth CP has no belt clip or loop, the person wants to carry in their back pocket when doing assessments on turbines on the floor. He uses exclusively Sharpie pens but the CP can be sized for larger diameter pens such as the Embassy Pen or a Sharpie marker.

The main compartment of the CP can hold a larger Smart phone up to 4.5" in length and nearly 3" in width. He will carry a BlackBerry Torch, so this will do nicely. There is also room for a proxy card, credit/debit cards and ID.

Behind the smart phone compartment cover is a slot for a standard 3"x5" top coiled notebook ready to take down dimensions, phone numbers, order details or a quick note on the go. This is held tightly, but not too tightly by a robust 1.5" band of woven elastic webbing.

A velcro patch can be added to the front for an clear ID window pouch or removable Proxy card (soon to be released).

I had this one brewing for a LONG time.

My dad's EDC for almost 2.5 decades is a couple of bic pens, a 3x5 notepad and always a phone. Family business of pharmacists, he's always on call, ready to take down notes and scripts.

I've always wanted to find a solution for him, and now I have one, he's going to be pretty excited.

This particular one is for my buddy who wanted a backpocket organization solution.

I would like one of these with a belt loop, and a flashlight loop sized for something similar to a Mini Mag.

Please let me know what such a thing would cost and when one could be available.

The newer command post look nice. I am looking to get one so I can keep my leathermen and other small essential tools in the pouch and try to squeeze my phone in the back pocket. Has anyone tried doing that yet? Was wondering if you could get a iPhone in the back pocket if so this is the one I am getting.
