Still waiting on the Medium Shield but I do have a Small Shield.

Here is the Small with a Swisschamp.

With a Champion and a Lumintop Tool AAA Flashlight.

Thanks! Any idea what's the max SAK thickness with a pen in the other pocket?
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Funny you should ask. I took a picture with that but wasn’t happy with how the Space Pen was to long so left it out.

Here I took the pictures again with worse lighting. If you could find a shorter pen it would be great. That said the flap closes fine but you have to put it off to the side of the pen if that makes sense.

So Explorer, Space Pen and Lumintop Tool. Might be able fit something one layer thicker but it would be tight. Now if you use a SAK without the inline Phillips that would help. Also a thinner AAA light would free up some room also. The Lumintop has a larger head than some.

Forgot to say I don’t have any SAKs between the Explorer and a Champion in size to check.

I know now what the max thickness SAK with pen and light is in a Medium Shield.

With light and pen I would say the Champion is as large as fits comfortably. Swisschamp is too big and I am not sure if there is anything else in between size wise. Maybe one of the Cybertools?

With just the light the Swisschamp fits perfectly. You could also just run the SC by itself fine.

Wave fits like a champ also.

That is a good looking Skinth.

In case it’s not noticeable the material on the Burgandy Skinth is 500D vs the 1000D on the other colors.

I like the 500D so far but we’ll see if it holds up as well.

Are all Skinths 500D?  Mine are holding up great but I wear mine mostly around the home to have some items close at hand.  I do wear one for work sometimes and its also doing great. Heck my Leatherman molle sheath is doing good so I figure these should do as well if not better.

No Sir.

Only the Burgandy and maybe one other color that I can’t remember right now.

The vast majority are 1000D

Hmm just checked and only a couple of the multi cam variants are 500D.

I swear when I bought my Burgandy Skinth said 500D. Will check tomorrow if it looks different then my Black Skinths.

Looking to get the command post. I want it for edc. Want to try and have my phone in the back part of it instead of a notebook. Want a olight baton on the side. Want to have a leathermen wave and other essential tools. Does anyone have a load out of this model or have tried to fit a iPhone in the back pocket?

I’ve been looking into a Skinth Shield for my current carry.  Right now I’m primarily carrying a Vic Spirit, Rally, Alox Solo, Olight I3T (or similar size single AAA light), and pokka/space pen.

It all currently sits in a medium LM sheath like so:

IMG_4331.jpg
* IMG_4331.jpg (Filesize: 112 KB)

Spirit in main pocket, Solo in rear bit slot, Rally in front bit slot, with flashlight and pen in side pockets.

Which Shield would you recommend for this load out?  It looks like either the M or the L.  Seems like the M might be quite the snug fit.  It might not hold both additional SAKs in the front pocket nor fit both side pockets with the main and front pockets full.

This might also be a situation where I’m looking for something like the OG Skinth?

Thanks for your help awl  :hatsoff:
