Cheap batteries?

Think cheap batteries are a waste of money?  Your are right..... for the most part.

Apparently E-Circuit brand tests close to Duracell and Energizer but at a fraction of the price.

Might be worth looking into if you aren't using rechargeable batteries.

I have been really having good luck out of Duracell's B2B-focused "Procell" brand. Half the cost, but last just as long. Rayovac I've noticed has really improved. Used to be, they had the worst batteries on the market, but they're as good as Duracell and Energizer--plus they're US-made.

I ordered one box of 24 each in AA and AAA Procell batteries from a large US chain of battery retailers. However, they goofed and sent me one shipping case each--which is a case of six boxes of 24. Needless to say, I'm good on batteries for quite some time. In addition, almost all of my AA items have been swapped to Eneloops, and am getting ready to do the same with AAA.
