Decided I wanted something fun and not too much smarter than me for my EDC watch, so I picked up this Casio CA53W-1. The Casio website assures me I'll never have trouble tipping my waiter at the restaurant again. Mostly it gets used to help keep score during Cribbage.

I had that same watch! Back in junior high, then I got the upgraded series which had telephone numbers in high school, yet, I also got some watch that was also a remote control for tv’s, all to screw with the teacher when the tv was in the class room and it wasn’t something we wanted to watch! :whistle:

When I was in school, kids would just bring in remotes from home. If you had the right brand, they worked more often than not.

Congratulations!
I keep wanting one myself, but am put off by the lack of backlight.

I have the Casio DBC32 version, which looks awesome... but is such a pain in the bum to use. The backlight only just works, the buttons are almost impossible to press, and the flippin' thing gains several seconds per day!
I'd say yours in the far better deal overall.... ;)
