Day 5

Here is the only picture I have for today. I used the needlenose pliers to help pull a cable into an old work box:

Day 7

This is why I should not use any MT for cutting out holes for recessed lighting:

The drywall dust gets everywhere in the MT and helps create surface rust.

Spray it with WD-40 or 3 in 1 oil after using

I'll definitely be careful about using multis on drywall. 3-in-1 Oil works pretty well, but sometimes I find its odor a bit disagreeable.

Cutting out for switches and receptacles isn't a problem, for only the saw is affected and it is easy to clean. But I need to avoid cutting out drywall on the ceiling. Typically in those situations I am cutting out a dozen or more 6" holes. That creates a lot of dust, with a good amount accumulating in my MT.

My problem is that I hate carrying a drywall saw in my back pocket. I bought a Klein saw that folds  :tu:, but the saw does not taper towards the end nearly as much as it should   :twak:. The width of the saw makes cutting circles without damage more difficult than it should.

My next mod project may be creating a better drywall saw.

Yeah, I rinse it off and then use 3-in-1. But it is usually the weekend before that occurs.

Thanks!

I was a big fan of this MT as soon as I bought one in January of last year. The overall package is not as good as the Wave+, but, as you know, some of the individual components are better than the Wave+'s.

Day 8

I used the Multiforce to fix a door today, but have no pictures of the feat. Instead, here is one of it on a fence post:

A little surface rust never bothered me on tools as long as I am actively using them :tu: I rarely have to cut drywall though and when I do, I take a wire brush to it after use because I am OCD like that  :D

The Klein appears have "Japan" stamped on the tang. Am I correct?
